As a software QA engineer, you work together with the software engineering team and ensure that the developments meet the requirements and have been implemented in a high-quality manner. For this purpose, you develop system tests and execute them independently within our agile software development projects, in the respective test and live systems. You decide which tests can be reasonably automated and implement this in our test automation framework. You carry out manual test cases independently and document the results in our test management tool.

• You make the Specification and implementation of test cases for manual and automatic verification
• You participate in quality assurance measures
• You support software test process by automating test steps
• You’re responsible for the maintenance of existing test cases and test infrastructure
• You execute and evaluate automatic- and manual test cases
• You’re in charge of continuous development of the existing test infrastructure
• You ensure high software quality in our projects
• You’re responsible for the stability of the test environments through extensive monitoring

• You have experience with end-to-end testing of distributed large-scale enterprise systems
• You have API based testing and good knowledge in test automation with at least one test framework
• You may have the creativity and ability to think out of the box
• You have communication skills to coordinate bug impacts with the software development team
• You already have professional experience in software development and programming skills in a high-level language (C++, C#, JAVA, etc.)
• Team collaboration skills are self-evident for you
• You have understanding of process analysis and evaluation.
• You speak German and English very good
• Preferable you have first experience in agile projects, an ISTQB certification and industry knowledge in the automotive sector
