Safety Instructions – CSC-Tool PRO

In order to avoid incorrect handling and injury to the user or destruction of the CSC-Tool PRO arising from this, pay attention to the following:

  • A second person is required for the installation of the monitor.
  • Only use the designated carrying handles on the device to move the CSC-Tool PRO.
  • Do not use the handles on the CSC-Tool PRO to transport or unload the device from the pallet.
  • When installing the monitor, observe the specified tightening torque for the M8 bolts (approx. 8-10 Nm).
  • The handles on the CSC-Tool PRO are not carrying handles and are not suitable for lifting the CSC-Tool PRO.
  • The assembly handles on the monitor are intended exclusively for carrying and attaching the monitor. Remove the assembly handles after having attached the monitor.
  • Once the CSC-Tool PRO is damaged, the proper alignment of the vehicle is no longer ensured. In this case the CSC-Tool PRO must not be used anymore and warranty and guarantee will become void.
  • Ensure that the CSC-Tool PRO is secured against rolling by using the brake.
  • Move and align the CSC-Tool PRO only when it is fully retracted. Adjust the height of the monitor only afterwards.
  • Before the height setting of the monitor, ensure that it is in the default setting. The default setting corresponds to the horizontal alignment of the monitor.
  • Sudden forces may occur during the height adjustment of the monitor. To avoid injuries, ensure that no body parts are within the movement area.
  • There is a risk of pinching around the lifting column. Keep hands and fingers away from this area to avoid injuries.
  • When attaching the camera bar, observe the specified tightening torque for the M8 screws (approx. 6 Nm).
  • Pay attention not to pinch hands or fingers when shifting the camera bar.
  • Make sure that the CSC-Tool PRO is properly adjusted every time before starting a camera calibration.
  • Do not look directly into the cameras during operation. Infrared rays are emitted that are invisible to the eye but potentially harmful.
  • Pay attention to firmly attached or connected cables when moving the CSC-Tool PRO. Damages are likely otherwise.
  • Ensure correct seating and secure connection of the power plug.
  • Protect the CSC-Tool PRO from fluids such as water, oil or gasoline. The CSC-Tool PRO and the corresponding components are not waterproof.
  • Do not open the CSC-Tool PRO. Only technicians authorized by Hella Gutmann are allowed to open the device.
  • In case of malfunctions or necessary calibration work and repair steps of the CSC-Tool PRO please contact a technician or trading partner of Hella Gutmann.
