Checking Delivery Contents

Check the delivery contents upon or immediately after delivery so that any damage can be reported immediately.

Proceed as follows to check the delivery contents:

  1. Open the package and check contents for completeness using the enclosed delivery note. Should you identify any damage to the package, then open the package in the presence of the delivery service and check the HG-VCI for hidden damage. Any transport damage to the package supplied and damage to the HG-VCI shall be registered in a damage report by the delivery service.
  2. Remove the HG-VC from the packaging.

    Danger of short circuit due to loose parts in or on the HG-VCI

    Risk of irreparable damage to the HG-VCI and vehicle electronics

    Never operate the HG-VCI if you suspect that there are loose parts in or on the module. If this is the case, immediately contact the Hella Gutmann repair service or a Hella Gutmann trading partner.

  4. Check the HG-VCI for mechanical damage. Shake it gently to check for loose parts inside.
