Intended Use

The mega macs PLUS is a diagnostic and supporting system for detecting, analyzing and rectifying faults in automotive electronic systems. The system is designed especially for the use in combination with Windows-based tools (desktop, notebook, tablet with Windows operating system) and it is intended to be used in professional automotive shops.

It uses a diagnostic interface to establish a connection to the automotive electronics and to provide access to descriptions of the vehicle system. A lot of this data is transferred to the Windows system directly from the Hella Gutmann diagnostic database via online connection.

The mega macs PLUS is not suitable for repairing electrical machines and devices or home electrics. Devices from other manufacturers are not supported.

If the mega macs PLUS and the HG-VCI are not used in accordance with the specifications given by Hella Gutmann, the protection of the device may be impaired.

The HG-VCI is intended for use in the industrial areas. Outside of industrial areas, e.g. in commercial or mixed use areas, measures to suppress radio interference may have to be taken.
