mega macs PLUS Installation

  1. Start download
  2. Open either https://www.hella-gutmann.com/megamacsPLUS-Install or scan the following QR code:
  3. Download the mega macs PLUS installation file.
  4. Installation
  5. Start installation file you have downloaded before.
    NOTICE! A splash screen appears directly after starting the app, which remains open until the app is entirely loaded.
  6. The setup assistant guides you through all installation steps.
  7. Setup Assistant
  8. Follow the indicated dialogs of the installation file.
  9. Select the installation path if necessary.
  10. Start the installation.
  11. The button >Complete< appears when the installation is finished.

    Preconditions for Start

    The HG-VCI must be connected to voltage supply.

    Bluetooth connection must be activated in the device.

  13. Start of the mega macs PLUS Launcher
  14. If the checkbox Execute mega macs PLUS is activated, the mega macs PLUS launcher is starting automatically after having clicked to >Complete<.
  15. VCI Selection & Connection
  16. All connected HG-VCI are indicated automatically in a list.
  17. Please select your HG-VCI.
  18. Connection to the HG-VCI is established upon selection.
  19. A registration window opens afterwards, where you can enter your access data.
  20. Login / Registration

    Use the e-mail address which has been stated in the order.

    An automatically generated e-mail with a link to the registration form will be sent to the specified e-mail address. A password-protected Hella Gutmann account can be created using this link. Logging in and installing the mega macs PLUS is only possible with these access data.

    If you already have a Hella Gutmann Account but if you have forgotten your password, you can reset the password. In this case you will receive an automatically generated e-mail with a link for password reset.

  22. Enter the access data.
  23. Required data is downloaded (download speed depending on Internet connection).
  24. Completion
  25. Accept the order processing agreement and the end user license agreement.
  26. You can start working with the mega macs PLUS.
  27. After the successful installation the app icon is placed automatically on the desktop.
    NOTICE! The app is automatically using the language settings of the Windows operating system. Merely the country can be adapted within the app.
  28. Start the application
  29. Double-click (PC) or tap (tablet) to open the diagnostic menu.
  30. You can start again the mega macs PLUS any time with the desktop icon after having closed it before.
    NOTICE! You can start the mega macs PLUS only if no further instance of the app is running. Otherwise, an error message appears.
