Setting the Mode

Select > Settings > User profile > Miscellaneous to activate the following modes:

• Demo mode
• There is no vehicle communication in the demo mode. Fixed values are indicated instead. The demo mode is intended for trainings, presentations and sales demonstrations.
• In the course of vehicle diagnostics the demo mode must be switched off. Otherwise, if the demo mode is activated, the device will deliver predetermined diagnostic results and no real values.
• Demo mode referred to driver
• Here you can simulate the driver functions. During the driver communication the system can indicate fixed values e.g. for trainings or presentations.
• Expert mode
• Here you can activate additional buttons which shall help solving potential troubles together with the Technical Help Line.
• OBFCM data transmission test mode
• Here you can do test transmissions of the OBFCM data (OBFCM = On-Board Fuel Consumption Monitoring) to be able to check the communication between vehicle and diagnostic device and to identify potential transmission issues.
• Notification sounds
• By activating the checkbox, acoustic notifications can be activated.
