Intended Use

The mega macs PRO is a diagnostic and supporting system to detect and analyze faults in automotive electronic systems as well as to support your diagnostic, service and maintenance work.

The mega macs PRO is intended for use in professional automotive workshops.

The system consists of a display unit with the mega macs PRO app installed and a VCI for communication with the vehicle.

Via the vehicle’s diagnostic interface, the mega macs PRO establishes a connection to the electronic vehicle systems and supports diagnostic, service and maintenance work.

Depending on the equipment version and the functions released you can do additional measurements on the vehicle systems. The corresponding operating instructions contain information about the safe use of test and measuring equipment.

The mega macs PRO shall only be used with hardware and software approved by Hella Gutmann, as well as approved accessories.

The mega macs PRO is not suitable for testing, servicing, or repairing electrical machines, devices, or household installations.

The VCI is intended for industrial use. Outside of industrial areas, e.g. in commercial or mixed use areas, measures to suppress radio interference may have to be taken.
