Preconditions for Initial Start-Up

Setup of the device

• Set up the CSC-Tool PRO correctly and according to the enclosed assembly instructions before taking it into operation.
• A basic precondition for the initial start-up is the correct assembly of all components.

Setup area

• solid, even shop floor
• sufficient space in front of the vehicle
• no reflections or shadows on the monitor
• ambience is free from strong magnetic or light sources

Connections for current and network

• Mains supply 230 V AC, grounded
• Active network connection (Wi-Fi & Bluetooth)
• Internet access for license activation and cloud synchronization

Integrated Remote Connections

• Bluetooth is provided with the enclosed USB pen drive. There is no separate infrastructure necessary.

Software, license and user account

• The initial start-up of the CSC-Tool PRO requires a valid Hella Gutmann acount.
• See section Hella-Gutmann Account and License Booking.
• Enter your access data with the touch panel PC after the complete system start of the CSC-Tool Pro
• See section Switch on the CSC-Tool PRO.

Connection of the diagnostic device (with guided calibration)

• Prior to a guided calibration (see section Guided Calibration) you need to connect the diagnostic device (e.g. mega macs X, mega macs S 20 or mega macs PLUS) via OBD plug to the vehicle.

• NOTICE! Make sure that there are no running procedures in the diagnostic device.
